In a world where pastries are 6-10 dollars, this menu is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I'm not very experienced with Korean street food, but to my palate it seemed like it was fried in clean oil and with real cheese--and it was mad good. The spicy is not actually that spicy, so definitely take advantage of their sauces if you want it to pack a punch. Interior is dive-y, (as it should be), and a bit kitsch--there is an oversized foam replica of the fried hotdog that is looking a little worse for wear--but it's a great location near lots of stuff on Metcalf and totally worth checking out. I plan to be back!
Absolutely great food! I love the rice cakes, always hit the spot. I usually take this home but the place is very cozy and service is fast and reliable. Please give this place a chance.
Wanted to try something new so I stopped by K street for an afternoon snack. I was excited to try the Korean style hot dogs. I ordered the potato spicy mozzarella and the cheddar sausage as well as the crab rangoon. I loved the self order kiosks. Any chance to stay in my introvert bubble I will gladly take. The eating area was clean and the staff were very friendly. The potato sausage was my favorite. I loved the texture and the mozzarella was stellar. The cheddar sausage was also good. The breading was sweet and savory. The rangoons were delicious. I loved the Thai chili sauce with them. It was well priced and delicious. I will be back soon to try more of the menu.
I'd been wanting to try this place for awhile and it did not disappoint. We tried a variety of things--spicy and regular sausage/mozzarella corn dogs, (both delicious) crab corn dog with spicy mayo dipping sauce (my personal favorite and a new addiction) the sausage and rice skewer, crab Rangoon, and spiral potato chips. Everything was made to order and came out hot and fresh. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.
George made us the most delicious K-Street Hotdogs. We ordered using the self ordering kiosk and our menu items were made to order, we ordered drinks and some waters and sat down to eat our food. There is a restroom for convenience and lots of seating, maximum occupancy sign stated 25.
Menu was easy to read. A lot of pictures. Ordering was easy on the touch screen and got our food at a decent amount of time. It's a little small in there, and it doesn't take long to eat these so quick in and out. It was a little toasty in there, but it also was one of the hottest days when we went. Vibe was chill though! Corn dogs were not bad at all!
Pretty good food. Kinda quick. It takes just the time to deep fry what you wanted. My favorite is the crab stick. I highly recommend it. It's just an average eatery. Nothing special about it inside except that it's usually playing K-pop videos and they have a giant fried hot dog you can take a pic with
Deliciously crispy crunchy hot dogs. Loved the plain cheese dog which was super delightful to eat. Choose from various sauces. No cups of water here, only bottled. Fun food to try!
This place was cool. We really wanted to try Korean hotdogs & so I'm glad we were able to experience that. My favorite was the regular Mozz sausage dog! It was really good with spicy mayo as the sauce!
